Do you know who makes it and how much it will cost?
I hope he doesn't crash on landing, his nose gear is off center. The background looks like LAX, so it's like Canyon Blue II.

How freakin' awesome would THAT be? Though, in reality, they would have replaced the 747s with Airbus birds. Didn't they have A330s on order at one point? I actually have a TWA A330 model at home in Orlando in the 80s/90s colors.
Yes TWA did have the A330's on order. However TWA also had route authority to NRT from STL and was planning on starting the route with two 777s.
Heres the Prices lol.......

http://www.badermodels.com - they are based in the middle east, and from what I heard there is a waiting list, I did send them an e-mail seeing what they can tell/ send me. They are quite nice and they even do boats-buildings,etc- very neat if you ask me!

Apparently this company will build any aircraft in any color scheme you want. Expensive, but pretty awesome. They also seem to have a number of premade models that you can order instantly: http://www.badermodels.com/air_instant.htm
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
I never liked TWAs new colors but I think it looks fantastic on the 777-200
I will not hear of such talk! How dare thee! Those colors were the nicest colors to ever adorn a flying maching! Senga you have made the spotting gods angy, lol ;)Originally Posted by SengaB

Tommy I noticed for a while now you have an affinity for TWA. Do yo have a connection with them or do you love the airline and its history?

Very long story Senga but I've grown up with TWA, flying them countless times over and over as a child, teen, college stutdent and adult. Lots of memories of going to Europe out of T5 in the 90's.Originally Posted by SengaB
Oh ok, That would explain it. I remember seeing TWA's aircraft frequently flying low over us from base to final for runway 36 (at the time) at Washington-National during marching band practice. (early 90s)
I should have been hitting the airports instead of wasting time blowing air through a metal contraption.
