    Anyone fluent in Flight Sim?

So a while ago I picked up FlyTampa's version of SXM. I only really checked it out today, and I noticed this...

Any idea why the buildings don't show up? I assume it has something to do with the scenery .cfg but I don't really want to mess with that. The other two airports that come with the package don't do this, either.

    I speak flight sim.
I wish there was a dedicated Flightsim forum on NYCA.
So you have an addon......Check out the addon scenery options in FSX...you might have to give them priority over the default.

Nice plane..is that a downloaded plane or you bought it?

Care to guess witch aircraft is mine?

    Hi Senga,

This is FS9. And the plane is a Twotter available from avsim.com. The flight dynamics are a bit funky, but it's a great model.

Oh ok.Something told me it was FS9. I don't think I have seen TNCM in FSX yet.

Thats a nice looking Twin Otter....I haven't ever flown one of those in MSFS before.
I'm currently flying the NWA DC-9 and FDX A310.

Personally, I've never had that problem. I know some other forums where the people there could probably help. I'll give them a link to this topic and I'll post updates as soon as they're available.

Now that the subject's on FS, I'll see if I can dig up some of my screenshots.

I think Senga is right - check the order of priority in the Scenery definition. If SXM is lower than the default scenery, then you won't get the correct scenery.

If anyone has any problems, you can PM me with any problems. I have used FS for about 7 years, logged 4000+ hours on it,(no life!) and have rebuilt it more times than i can count on my fingers and toes.

Honestly, I do too! :borat: If a significant amount of people show an interest in it to where it warrants its own forum, I'd have no problem creating it down the line.

Re: Anyone fluent in Flight Sim?

Please post as many screen shots are you guys can get I'd like to see them.
I lost alot of the ones I had in FS9 ina HD crash but I am flowly building a collection of them for FSX.
    Stuart,
I might be showing my age....I have been using MSFS since 1985..thats 85. Hows that for experience!? :) I started out on MSFS on the Commodore 64.
I spend most of my time in MSFS tweaking. I don't fly int he sim as much as I used to but I stll do. I get even more satisfaction watching the AI planes in action.

Heesshung..I love the reg ont he 767 :) Thats a nice shot there.

Phil You and I might be having a conversation soon :).....I hope it something that could be done if a forum would be supported.

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
