    Fall West Coast Trip

    Hello,
Eric and I started the tour on Tuesday for Seattle and Los Angeles. After being delayed for 4+ hours and arriving at 3am instead of 10:30pm  . However things got much better on Wednesday as we did the Boeing Tour @ Paine Field and then the Musuem of Flight tour in afternoon at Boeing Field :) . Here are some of the pics...

After finding out KORD wx report, I changed my routing and made a 12 hour layover for some inbetween spotting :D

Love the new colors on UA Jumbo,

This one made my layover a worthwhile, espeically parking right in front of me :o :D

    Some new jetliners....
Air India is in middle of expanson and we saw FOUR Triple Seven in one day! One left for delivery flight, while here is the couple.

This is named after the state I was born in India, "Gujarat" :o :D

A-300 in final stages of being prepared for delivery

    Another new one for us,

    More to follow....
    Raj

Hi Raj, we met at KPAE this morning. I just wanted to let you know that there indeed was a UPS 747-400. Either it was hangared or its tail just happened to be angled so it was hard to see from the knolls. I happened to see the tail when it was being tugged for takeoff (about 3:30pm) . I booked it over near the fire station at the end of 34R. I'll upload some pics as soon as I figure out why my workflow software stopped working :x

    Was nice to meet you.

    Re: Fall West Coast Trip

Well here is some more stuff from KBFI.

N835BA, and funny this is the same one we saw at BFI, PAE and today at LAX!!

Jet's newest baby, VT-JGY took off for Gander for delivery flight.

This is what we saw at midnight and having seen earlier during the Boeing Tour it was awesome to see a new jetliner being build, and get it ready for delivery.

The giant hanger doors takes 4+ minutes to open... and out comes ....Qatari 777 :D

Passing the interstate to get painted and onto test flight line.

Lined up next to brand spanking new TG 777-200 at the 'fule line'.

A wide angle shot of the sun coming up over the 'barn'

Again it was totally awesome to be at KPAE and KBFI, only wish wx was better but than again its Seattle. We rolled with the punches (just like the jetliners rolling off the production line)

Raj and Eric, wonderful shots from one of my favorite spotting cities. Great variety and brings back many fond memories from my single days when I took many a spotting trip to the area. A little surprised to see the Ryanair 738 at PAE as the 737's normally only frequent BFI after leaving Renton. I really enjoyed both of you guys night shots from PAE, a seldom seen great idea, and Eric's skyline shot is stunning! I hope US treated you well on your trip down to LA ?

    Cheers

Again FANTASTIC stuff from both of you guys! Raj I'd love to join you in Thailand in Jan but I have a biz trip booked already for that week. But the Feb/March date does stir my interest.
