I'll have to get there for that if I can! The confusing thing is though - on the a.net post, he said Tuesday Sept 29 - Sept 29 is Saturday - so...is it Tuesday...or Saturday....

again? why? maybe they're going back to the blue and white? hope so!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
In the a.net thread there is a description by someone who has apparently seen it, feedback is not positive compared to the current but they are rebranding so perhaps want a more budget-oriented (i.e. less classy) image.
I think Nonstop2AUH hit the nail on the head, the current scheme is way to classy for the airline Spirit was and especially now what they have become. NK needs a livery much more trailer-parkesh than the current classy one. I could be wrong but I don't think a lot of us are going to like the new one.

Ugh, they can't just make up their mind!
It really makes me mad too!
I loved the blue, when they got the silver I didn't like it...
I have just started to like it.... AND THEIR CHANGING IT!!!
Well, thanks to me being in Detroit, I will have to look at it all the time, so it better be nice!

Thats really too bad. I happen to really like Spirits new livery! It was fresh and modern compared to some of the crap airlines are painting their planes these days. Sometimes it baffles me that airlines actually pay a company to design their new livery when the opinion is that it sucks. Oh well, I guess they will be following the rest of the parade into Euro-White Paradise?

I wasn't a huge fan of the silver, as the paint itself just never seems to look good on ANY airline (like NW too). I will really miss the white/graphic scheme.
I'[m actually a fan of Spirit, and I'm hoping for this scheme to look good.

I love the current scheme, it takes such a good picture and is very classy. I'm sure NK will go to some cheap Euro white scheme.
For those interested in some backstory on the current Spirit livery, here's some info from Aerobrand who designed it. I had gone to their site thinking maybe there would be some teasers about the new look but no such luck, this is however kind of interesting :

I really wish I could find it, but there is a Powerpoint template that is identical to Spirit's logo. And the Powerpoint template came first.

This is too good:
Was? I think it still is.Known Issues: Serious perception problems with customers. Research before the re-branding effort indicated the customer’s perception of Spirit was extremely negative.

This comes as a surprise to me...Didn't they just change to the current livery within maybe 3-5 years ago?
