    At the Gas Station

The other day while gassing up, I became bored. I did two things.

    1. I found magnets laying on top of the gas pump. They were the numbers that determine price. The 2.49 "silver" gas immediately became $1.09. Score.

    2. I read all of the warnings on the entire pump. One of them was "Do not go inside your vehicle during pumping." This is because of static electricity that can be generated when your ass touches the seat.

    Here's why:

Ironically, I used the gas tank cap to hold the lever of the nozzle to pump hands-free, hence my ability to have free time.

Phil you better get back out spotting soon, you're starting to worry me ;) I do that all the time with the gas cap, I hate holding that thing and having gas smell the rest of the day. Btw where is gas 2.49, that's a steal!

LOL. That chick in the video was a moron and a half. Generally there are emergency cut off valves nearby for a reason but she just sets the nozzle on the ground and calmly walks inside. What a bird brain. Oh and where did you get gas that cheap? I just filled up for $3.01 a gallon here in Long Beach.

You didn't read the sign that says using the cap to hold the lever is illegal? (I don't know if it is true)

The rule use to be to touch the nozzle to the bumper to ground the static but that was when bumpers were metal.

    $3.01???????? :o

:x WOW, do you feel a sudden raw, stinging sensation in the seat of your pants? Did you at least get some with that to help ease the pain.

I paid 2.79 in Medford 2 nights ago. :P I have seen 2.89 thru 2.93 almost everywhere from 150 St & Conduit through Sayville.
