    Nice Scene at T4

I wish I had a camera last week on Thursday (I think), and could take a shot from the tower at JFK.

The hardstands at T4 had all kinds of planes that were either special visitors, special schemes, or new oerators.

Zoom 767, ATA DC-10, Caribbean Airlines, Primaris' N741PA, FlyGlobeSpan, El Al 767, two Ryan International 757s, Aer Lingus' newest regi, Virgin's A340 updated scheme, Continental Dash-8, and surely a couple more that I forget.

Just one of those days, and in nice weather.

    Ever witness something like that?

I wonder what the Continental Dash-8 was doing there?

from the tower at JFK?, you got a tour?

Well there are those departures public lounges that have window seats to the T4 ramp so those can be good.

    Operating for Commutair to CLE.

Sounds like it was a really nice scene you saw Phil. When I departed JFK a couple of weeks ago the hardstand was a bit like you described with the ATA DC-10 among other nice aircraft and parked at Concourse B was "Birthday Girl" and an LTU A330-200 in the airlines new colors.

Was the new Aer Lingus EI-DOU(A330-200) or EI-DUZ (A330-300)?

How about this. I remember being over in the Customs lot and seeing on T6 I think a Carnival Airbus, Carnival 727, ATA 727 and Tristar , TWA birds all over, the BA SST on her stands, a Pangera 727-100 or 200 in the international terminal area, a NWA 744 on a hardstand and Eagle Saabs all over the place like roaches.

I saw Pink Delta and Habitat both parked at the terminal at the same time once, and I didn't have my camera on me because I was at JFK to actually go somewhere... :?

Ohh ohh how about this. USPS 727-200 Emery DC-8-61, Polar 747-100F and Cargolux 747-200 F all in one stretch along cargo alley once. And for good measure a UAL 747-200F parked down by the hangers thrown into the mix. Circa 1996

Are FlyGlobeSpan and Ryan International visiting JFK regularly or this is just their respective one-off visits? Where are they coming from?

    JZ -

Flyglobespan appears to be regular right now. Daily or nearly so.

Ryan International has not been regular (unless very recently), but they are showing up here and there lately - both EWR & JFK.

Phil - What a Remarkable line-up. That would've been a great shot indeed. Astonishingly different from what might've been seen a couple of years back, and no doubt not to be seen a couple of years from now either.
