    Emergency Declared

Got ATC on at work and I think a Bonazna or something has just declared an emergency to 31L, I have been watching them come in from work here and haven't seen anything. Anybody at JFK, or is Phil working kind of curious.

Sounds like it could have been the Virgin Atlantic A340-600 we saw do a go around off of 22L. It seemed like the engines smoked before touch down and she pulled up and went around.

Engines smokeing would normally mean a rapid increase in introduction of fuel into the engines. He was firewalling them to get up and out of there.

Don't think it was Virgin. Almost positive it was a Bonanza. These pilots were sounded American.

You know what, I did actually see a small Bonanza type plane go in on 31L.
