    AirTran's Tri-State Area Service

Can anyone tell me why AirTran has so many non-stops out of HPN to Florida and none out of LGA?

Because LGA already has enough Florida routes served by Delta, US, Spirit, AA, and B6. They wouldn't be able to get enough marketshare to make it profitable.

A bit off topic but when did AirTran and Frontier become codeshare partners? I was just looking at AirTran's site and they are codeshare partners. Interesting...

Didn't AirTran serve Islip in 1997 when they first started flying? I seem to remember flying them from ISP-MCO.

How long were they at ISP, a day? I don't remember them at ISP at all. During that time anyway when I was in college I was only flying TWA at JFK anyway.

They were there a very very short time. I think I recall a picture in Newsday when I was young of a 732 landing there infact.
