When you go spotting what resolution do you shoot at?
And has anyone here ever been to boston airport for spotting?
Does anyone know of any regional airports here w/ observation areas?

Couldn't all three of these post's be condensed into one?? All of them ask almost the exact same questions....
No one answered them and where did my other post go?Originally Posted by UrbanExplorer222

If you post a thread and no one replies to it, that does not mean that you keep on reposting it in new threads. However, you may bump it up by replying to it once if a considerable amount of time has passed with no response.

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
Both JFK and La Guardia have "offifial" observation areas...but they're closed. Nowadays, the closest thing to a designated 'spotting location' we have are the places we frequent the most, which can be found on the homepage by going to Tools > Spotting Maps (I've mentioned this many times before).Originally Posted by 777heavy
I've never really spotted at smaller airports like TEB, HPN, or FRG, but there may be parking lots or small fields around the perimeter where you sit for a while.

It's a hike, but I know the Albany airport actually built an observation area that is open to the public! With picnic tables etc....now there was some forethought.
