numbers of 1-4, wheels down, about 500 feet. They flew about 3/4s down the runway then turned north
and flew over Sheltair and disappeared into the mist and low clouds. 20 minutes later they returned, flew along 1-9 and landed and shutdown at Sheltair. I hung around FRG till 3:30 and they were still there. And the weather was getting any better. The ship was from CGAS Atlantic City.
UH-60 came in today @ 1:45. Its gone now.
What is UH-60?Quote:

I caught the tail end of a 737 take off.
Here is the Flight Aware info: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/BSK557
Miami Air 737-800 off 1-4 at 1:30PM. Must have been the Islanders charter that came in early this morning from LA.Quote:

Not sure where this flight originated from but do the hockey charters flying in from Canada have to go throughQuote:

This flight originated in Calgary, and there were less than 50 passengers on board (only used 1 bus). Charter operators send all there information to US Customs electronically now, so its very simple for one inspector to clear the flight.Quote:

The inspector then takes care of the crew and he's finished. Usually takes less than 10 minutes to clear the flight.
On a side note, it was interesting to see that the last two people off the aircraft then on the bus were the team captain, Jerome Iginla, then the team coach, Duane Sutter.
Ops i messed up :lol:Quote:

Not that anyone would want to be out with their camera today, but Atlantic has a Miami Air B737-400, and Delta has an A319 both on their ramp. Not here anymore, but there was a Swift Air 737-400 here as well during the day too.
I imagine that's flying one of the former NWA hockey charters we used to get. I never even though that we would be seeing Delta colors at FRG after the merger.Quote:

I just got back from eating my lunch at the approach end of 19 at FRG in the D&B lot. A Navy Blackhawk (callsign Navy 303) flew final right over me and landed. Not sure what ramp he is parked at.
Pete
Stopped by around 4PM and a 727 from HE "Tex" Sutton (Forwarding Co) is sitting on the Sheltair ramp.
Nice logo on the tail and "First Class Equine Air Travel" on the cabin. This was a former DHL 727-224 and
Kalitta is listed as the owner according to an N # search.
Air Canada Airbus just came in with the Ottawa Senators for tomorrow afternoons game. This is in the usual
Atlantic spot.
And around 4:15 a Navy T-39 Sabreliner (Rocket 304 I believe) landed on 1-9 and taxied over to Sheltair.
Looks like they will be here at least overnite. Touching moment when a female pax or crew member headed
out to the parking lot to get picked up and received long hugs from two family members, possibly parents.
What a beautiful day!!
YALL R Slippin, noboy noticed the F/A-18?

Wow, a lot of action at FRG today. Maybe I'll go tomorrow and see if any of the planes are still there.
