New to here
Hey guys, figured I'd introduce myself.
My name is Felipe Garcia, and finally joined the site. I've been a member of PHX Spotters for almost 3 years now (and spotting seriously for about that long) where I'm currently a contributing editor.
Originally from Mexico, I moved to Northern AZ back in 2008 to get a degree in rocket science, and after 5 years moved to the Columbus, OH area to work. Now that I'm up here I have plans to go spotting to airports in the nearby states, and next year I'm planning on going to JFK and hopefully I can make it to Geneseo as well.
I know a few members from here (Tim LaBranche, Steve Furst) but I don't think I met any others during the LAX Meetup (given that I was there for a grand total of 22 hours and mostly hung out with Tim, Steve and a small group from PHX)

Welcome!
You should definitely try to make it to Geneseo. It's a really great airshow and is pretty unique. It's fun to have to all the different aircraft constantly moving around and to have to get out of the way of the planes as they pass by.
Having a C-47 wing pass right over your head is awesome:

From everything I've seen, Geneseo looks like a great place, I'm not new to that kind of action, but definitely new to that kind of action on grass (we don't grow that stuff in Arizona).

..but sure as hell grow lots of sand and sun!

Welcome board Felipe! I have a feeling we might have crossed paths during the LAX spotting trip.

Yes indeed, and if you water the sand and rocks enough, they will grow as large as Prescott's Granite Dells.

Welcome aboard Felipe!! The odds are we did probably see each other at LAX spotting trip.
