...and so Spring Break '07 travels begin
Hi everyone,
So, in 24 hrs spring break starts for me, woohooo! 8) This year I'm going to be splitting up the vacation time into 2 parts: 5 nights spent in Switzerland and 5 nights spent at home with my family in L.A.
Tomorrow (Thursday) night I'll be kicking off the festivities with a flight aboard LX 23 to Geneva. I can't wait; this is gonna be my 1st flight on Swiss and 1st flight on an A330 type.
I'll be visiting Geneva, Montreux, Interlaken, and Lucerne (amongst other small towns) on a photographic adventure...I'm hoping to get some keepers to add to my portfolio!
On Wednesday March 14 I'll be departing Zurich to LAX, which will be my first flight on an A340-300 and also, the longest flight I'll have ever been on...about 13 hrs! :cry: I look forward to experiencing firsthand how much the A340-300 sucks compared to the most incredible experience I had on Virgin Atlantic A340-600s this past November. I don't think any airline will be able to beat the ever impressive, Virgin! Who knows, maybe I'm wrong.
I'll touchdown in L.A. at 1745 (hopefully!) on the 14th and get to relax at home with friends/family til the 19th, when I'll fly to JFK to go back to school. Thank God I chose to schedule my AA flight that day at 2pm, allowing me the chance to see the A380 touch down at my home airport!
Now I just gotta pray for good weather wherever I'll be :wink: Enjoy the A380 arrival everyone, and perhaps I'll write a trip report when I get home in Los Angeles.
