if you guys are going to be out in the afternoon then i'm seriously going to try to shoot out there after work. where/when are you planning to be?
It's going to be one of those few and far between times where I will be out at LGA for the day! I plan on getting there around 10-10:30 and staying for the duration of the day.
On Sunday my dad and I are going to head down to JFK for some much needed spotting after five months of not spotting! If anyone's going be at JFK on Sunday let me know!

DAMN! Gotta work, last weeks pics sucked, too grey out.
Figures too I finally got Cathay's A346.
Hey all...
...would anyone be able to give Phil and me a ride on Sunday? Hopefully someone will want to make it out to JKF before 8am, if possible. Please let us know either by PM or give Phil a call.
Thanks!
-mel
The Mets end a 3 game home outing with the Marlins Sunday, with a 1300 start probably about a 1730-1830 Miami Air Dept out of LGA, possibly a 727 !
Ron
Im game...
I'm game, but seeing I'm not old enough to drive (yet), could someone give me a lift or tell me how to get wherever I need to be?
-Will
Although I don't think I'll be able to help out personally, where are you located?Quote:

Well a lot of it will depends on runway usage. We will probably be at LGA at various points around the day, so maybe you can meet up with us there and carpool around for the rest of the day.Quote:

Thanks, Phil. When do you think there will be a general plan? I'll probably want to spend a good part of the day spotting.
-Will
We will probbly be at LGA by 11 to catch the PSA bird.
Here's a little present for Mel, found this on a.net, Pink Song routings for tommorow, you will have to go to delta.com for the times, BTW when you see JFK-JFK that means the same flight number operates say JFK-MCO-JFK.

I could have sworn I posted this message last night, but it doesn't seem to be showing up.
Could I have someone's cell number to call so I know where to meet up?
You can PM me or e-mail me at [email protected]

Thanks to the extreme generousity of my boyfriend with his camera....I got some shots of planes I've been dying to get! Was a great day. Pretty large crowd and even some newbies. Wasn't as warm as we were hoping for, but lots of fun, nonetheless.
Here are some of my shots. Oh, and did I mention that I finally got Pink Song!?? Managed to grab her with the beacon, too.

mel.. great job!!
Mel....I'm jealous.
Nice to finally meet you Mel (along with the rest of the gang on Sunday). Photos came out great. Did you guys/girls get the Maxjet?
Mike

Mel, they are lovely! MAzel Tov on the pinkie!
You know my recent liking of N610DL, so I love that. Love the South African and loving the Air Tahiti Nui! 340's look great in the right colors!
Which, BTW, can I make an early request for someone to photograph us leaving on Jun 30. I dont know which row exactly is First, but thats where I'll be trying to shoot from.
And, I heard that most of you stuck around to see us land. Thanks guys, you guys are really great.
Funny thing is I was ready and looking for out for you in case you'd be shooting, but when I saw our final turn and saw the marshes, I knew the sun was on the other side, which is where you guys would be.
I'm sorry I missed all of you on Sunday. I really underestimated the amount of time the 7 train takes.
I stayed at LGA at the Marinia (thanks for the suggestion, Phil) until about 1:30 when my shots started getting washed out. Unfortunately, the last shots were some of the more interesting shots including:
UAL 320 in new colors
http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...747/UAL320.jpg
US 319 in new colors
http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...irwaysA319.jpg
Finally, I missed the PSA landing, but I saw her (sort of) on take off:

One quick question: what's the easiest way to find out what runways LGA or JFK are using? I have some time off tomorrow and Friday, and if the weather improves I might go out.

Sorry for the really late photo but I hadn't looked through my dads shots from the day until now.
I found this pretty cool photo of us shooting some plane. :P
