Flying W 03-20-2010

Went down to Flying W yesterday to shoot a whole bunch of Yaks and Nanchangs and a T-6. I believe they were part of the Red Star organization (please correct me if I am wrong, I very well may be). These gorgeous planes were out practicing formations throughout the weekend. Here's a few for starters, I will post more as I edit them! Any critique is VERY welcome!

When 19 is in use, the light is amazing for the entire time!

I went down Friday morning and Saturday morning since I had to work the remainder of the days and shot video from behind the fence on Friday and from next to the runway on Saturday.

thanks everyone, I really appreciate it! I'll have more as my work schedule allows....i came back with some 250 shots and i've only looked through a small handful of them but the action was great, I was literally 3 feet off the runway on my knee....to say it was intense would be an understatement.

After inviting ThreeHolderGlory down to hang out and shoot airplanes with me....I couldn't pass up an opportunity for a ride-along! I think he's going to hate me forever...but seriously, can y'all blame me!?
