About 46 seconds. It must have been loaded to the gills on a very hot day. I remember seeing El Al and Seaboard 747 flights use up most of 13R and 31L during the summer. Which leads to me to a tech question (not a trivia question). When the 747s lifted off the Pratts and GE's would smoke somewhat. A spotter friend of mine told me that was from the pilot injecting oil or water, I forget which, into one of the burners for extra thrust. True? False?

They used to inject water but I thought that was only on the -100's I believe the 707 had it too
