We went out to the Blue Ridge Parkway Friday evening looking for the comet, but the storms never cleared out. We had a nice light show from all the lightning, but never saw any stars. We took another ride out Saturday night to a different part of the BRP, and the skies cleared and we were able to see the comet. There were a number of other photographers out at the overlook we went to, but everyone was friendly and kept their distance. It was difficult to see with the naked eye, but we were able to get some decent shots.
