4/2/18 Eagle/Vail Colorado

While my December spotting afternoon at Eagle was thwarted by a mountain lion sighting in the area, I was not to be stopped on my April trip to Colorado. Despite gusts over 40 knots I climbed a hill adjacent to the airport to get some shots of the few airliners left serving EGE this late in the ski season.

Thanks Mark! I'm a huge fan of the backgrounds there, it makes it worth the effort of taking an afternoon off skiing and climbing a hill rather than skiing down.
