I went out this morning to get some shots of the Kalitta Charters II B734. Its supporting DHL during the Christmas Rush. I was not aware KFS had this KFS/DHL hybrid until a few days ago. I really hope they will bring in the normal Kalitta Charters II livery as well. I do think this livery would look great on the 727 if they ever decide to apply it.
While I was shooting the KFS B734 I noticed this obscure A321 with special marking at Terminal 7 at JFK. After seeing the registration I realized it is a special theme for Virgin America/Alaska. Unfortunately they had not painted the tail. I guess it has something to do with the merger and operation. I have seen other merging airlines do the same.
