june 4th runway 22 arrivals ....... AIR ZIMBABWE 767

the morning of june 4th runway 22 was in use, finally, i live in the flight path of runway 22 and was happy to see activity again and to top it off an Air Zimbabwe 767-200 flew over
does anyone know why she came to JFK, it was definitely a treat to see it

There is a conference about oceans at the UN today. Most of the speakers are minister-level, but there are a couple of heads of state on the schedule, among them (landlocked) Zimbabwe, Gabon, and (landlocked) Bolivia.

I noticed this the other day. From what I hear it's only being used during the day until construction is finished!! And like you I'm on the flight path further north in the eastern Nassau and it's nice to see the Big BOys again. Not sure anyone else around me does lol

4R/22L is open from 7am to Midnight from now until September 4. It is closed during the overnight.


The runway will fully close again from September 5 to November 17.
