Rare visitor to JFK on short final for RWY 13L. Unfortunately Mother Nature didn't provide any good weather for her arrival.

So Runway 22 open again? Just saw a number of Heavys fly past my house and heard "22 Left" on my scanner!!

Yes .... I was at T5 this evening to drop off my nieces and there were 22L/22R arrivals. From what I hear it will be mostly used for day ops and closed during the night for continuing work.

Thanks. I missed those big boys coming past and sometimes over my house. Haha probably the only one in my town
