I had the privilege to visit Joint Base Langley-Eustis on April 21 for a media event for this year's Atlantic Trident trilateral exercise, which featured aircraft from the USAF, the Royal Air Force, and the French Air Force. The media event featured an F-22 Raptor demonstration, a Rafale demonstration, and a performance by the Patrouille de France, who were over here for a month long United States tour. We were all treated to a ramp-side seat for this, just slightly closer to the runway than one would be when at the crowd line for AirPower Over Hampton Roads.

Following the demonstrations several members of the Patrouille de France came over for interviews. We then were bused over to the other side of the base to view an F-22 Raptor, F-35A Lightning II, Dassault Rafale, and a Eurofighter Typhoon over by the alert hangars.

Lastly we were bused back to the ramp to view a large contingent of aircraft departing all at once. Multiple F-15E Strike Eagles, F-22 Raptors, F-35A Lightning IIs, T-38 Talons, Eurofighter Typhoons, and Dassault Rafales all took to the skies. What an amazing sight and sound!

Enjoy the videos!
