Earlier this afternoon Maj Alex Turner in Thunderbird 6 reportedly lost power and had to eject soon after a demonstration at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He's reportedly in good shape (possibly uninjured), and the plane came down softly in an empty field.

And a few hours later one of the Blue Angels suffered a mishap and crashed in Tennessee. There is no word on the condition of the pilot or what jet it was as of this post.

Thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends, and teams.
