KRDU - Raleigh-Durham 2/27/2016

I was up to the Raleigh-Durham area on Saturday, and had a chance to do a little spotting at RDU. They have a nice overlook facing one runway, and the general aviation terminal has an outdoor deck on the second floor overlooking the GA ramp and the other runway.

The Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team flew to Pittsburgh for a game on Sunday, flying this Swift Air charter - last time I remember shooting this plane, it was at FRG as the "Plain Talk Express" flying John McCain during the 2008 presidential campaign.

Nice shots! Thanks for sharing this slice of RDU action. I know that delta erj isn't much, but with republics recent bankruptcy that may soon be a rare or nonexistent catch. It's also while looking at this batch I realized how WN has moved into so many of AAs defunct hubs and taken over. RDU, BNA and STL come to mind...
