Hey Guys,

Between graduating college, family and personal medical adventures, I have fallen quite a bit behind on editing and posting... well much of anything. As such, this set is my "return" to Texas if you will, but I haven't actually posted the photos from my farewell spotting with friends (maybe in 2016) That being said, I think I scored some nice images this past weekend and wanted to share. As indicated in the title, this thread will be rather robust in terms of image quantity (and I hope quality :) )

Starting off with some terminal action from ATL and DFW

I was excited to be back on one of my former AirTran 717s for my flight to DAL, and these two were set up nicely for a shot

At this point I have to say that the lack of MD-80s at DFW was both notable and disturbing. I remember not that long ago when I could see 10 consecutive MD-80 arrivals on 18R... in an afternoon at Founder's I was lucky to clear 7-8 MD-80s this past week. Bit sad to see

Why? Because these CR2's aren't long for this world! Looking at Google Maps, Kingman, AZ is quickly filling with 50 seat jets. So, shoot em while you can, and if at all possible in gorgeous light like you've done sir.

Thank you all for the kind words! I was very happy with the entire set, but the CatBird was definitely up there :)

The pink sky on that UPS bird was sort of a surprise to me, I'm not a great low light shooter so I was stunned that came out given it was like 1/25 second on the exposure.

Skyteam, CR2s rule. New livery AA CR2s really rule. I have been trying to shoot them as best I can :)
