Any Standards on Registration Legibility?

Are there any IATA/ICAO standards regarding the legibility of registrations? The registrations on Air Canada Rouge are ridiculously hard to read because of the lack of contrast. It's almost if they're trying to hide the reg.

There probably is but I would think that Rouge are in compliance with them. If you look at the registrations on some GA aircraft you will find they are hard to read (gold on white) Also I remember the BAe 146's that AC had in one of their commuter carriers fleet were minute also. Also French AF Falcons are barely visible unless you know where to look.
They don't need to be highly visible fr ATC purposes, so I guess they just need to be visible close up.
