On the way back from visiting family, I made certain to stop by my old stomping grounds at DTW to catch some action. After a brief stop at one of my spotting locations, I continued to shoot from the terminal during a departure delay.

Man, I am still so happy to see Delta 747's....never thought they would fly them again after the -100's

Part of the reason I got out to DTW early was for that 744 William. They're going to be phased out by 2017 according to the current fleet plan as I understand it, so I had to get the shot while they're still flying!
