Virgin Atlantic 787-9 making her inaugural flight to JFK as she taxi's to her gate at Terminal 4. Unfortunately the weather didn't greet her fairly. She is one pretty Virgin :P

Thanks gents! I was thrilled that the fog lifted and the rain stopped for a brief period within a few minutes of her arrival to the gate area.

Is this a regularly scheduled flight or a route-proving flight? If it's regular, whats the schedule?

This is a regular scheduled flight. The inbound flight VS3 arrives around 1230 and departs as VS4 around 1930.

Not the inaugural flight, but the next day I was able to catch the Virgin Atlantic 787-9 pushing back off the gate.
