Heres my report on that "special" flight I took on my way to India.
I flew AA KBDL-KPHL on CRJ. Then KPHL-EDDF on A330-200 and arrived at 6:15am on Jan 15th!
We landed on the newest runway with City passing at our right!

After an excellent breakfast & couple of hours of rest.... went down ...Gate 41 was right under the lounge! There was no one yet...

By 11:30 crowds started gathering... very festive atmosphere for Frankfurt based QR team members. Just bout all of QR family was there!
Hors d'oeuvre + Champagne cocktails started and were served till we departed at 15:30!!

Overall..... Awesome does not do justice to describe the atmosphere & energy @ QR gate at Frankfurt. The service abroad was impeccable. It was one of the highlight of my trip......however there is more and will post 2nd part of the return leg on a different carrier & machine soon!
