Greetings,
I made my way down to KDOV to get some shots of the arriving Turkish Air Force A400. This is the second A400 arrival on US soil and the first arrival for the TUAF A400. I have been a fan of the A400 since it rolled out and I was thrilled to finally get a chance to see one with my own eyes. I gave up a chance to get pics of the French AF A400 last summer. The A400 did not disappoint. It was much larger than what I thought I should have planted myself a bit farther back. The landing profile and the long cycled flashing led lights was quite impressive. Unfortunately the weather crapped out about 30 minutes before arrival with lots of rain but at least it stopped just minutes before the TUAF landed. Very dark and hazy make shots very hard to edit. Turkey-EGUN-CYQX-KDOV I also took note of a RMAF C-130 (Probably my 10 billionth shot of the RMAF C130.

Great catches, per usual, Senga. I'm a big fan of the A400 as well.

Does it sound Bearish ( Tupolev)?

The A400M? I haven't heard a Bear in person, but I don't think they sound similar. But man, it is capable of some crazy moves!

Thanks for the compliments.

727C47,
It didn't have the distinct sound anything like the TU-95 or the AN-22 (with the dual mounted rotating props). Really it sounded just like any other 6 or 8 blade Turbo prop with the loud "Buzzzzzzzz" sound (always disappointing to me) C-130J, Upgraded E/C-2s D328s etc etc. However The sheer size of the props gave it a nice loudness though.

IMO not too many T-props can beat the guttural roaring sound and rotating turbines whining cutting in between the blades like a Classic C-130 does.
