Greetings,
I went out tonight to get some shots of the Netherlands Air Force KC-10. It had arrived into JFK at 4:50PM Local Time NAF47. It was a tough shot with moderate winds and a light rain working against you. You can't see the rain but it was there. I am glad to get a second chance to photograph the NAF KC10 as I had crap shot from a few years back when it came into JFK and departed a few hours late. I will try again in a few hours to get some daytime shots. This might be the same one I shot a few years back at JFK. NAF47 T-235. The aircraft was literally not visible as there was NO light on it. I took the shot around 11pm (Hoping the rain would have ended but it did not)

Thanks,
Just got back from getting a daytime shot. I am please with the results unlike my shots from a few yeas back. Mark as of 11:00am local there was no planned departure so it should be there at lease for several hours to come if not all day. If I hear I will post.

Senga ... Passed by and around 6:30pm there were two fuel trucks tanking her up. No navigation lights were lite. I have a feeling she may depart tonight (I hope not, would like to get a day time shot of her).

Was able to get a night shot but a little blurry due to wind.

Nice shot Mark,
Yea I know the feeling about those night shots and wind. It good it wasn't raining when you shot it. I see they had some light from the deicing tent area to the left of the plane this time too that I didn't have in my night shot. I can see a bit of ti on the tail and the nose. When I was there it was so black I could not even focus n the plane as ti wasn't visible I had to auto focus on a light and then turn ti off and then use that focal point on the camera.

I took this after I took my main shots. This is how it looked with my eyes and no overexposure. I had to focus on the taxiway signs or the red lights in the background to get a focal point.
