Summer at the Airport (image heavy)

Hi all - I hope this posts finds everyone well and ready for the fall to begin.

I was very fortunate to spend the summer with an international carrier at Washington-Dulles as an Airport Management Intern. I learned a great deal about the airport environment and had many wonderful experiences. Chief among them would have to be the unlimited ramp access that came with working in management for an airline. I was hesitant in the first few weeks to bring my camera with me outside of our designated gate area but I never had an issue and was able to make quite a few friends with other airline employees through bringing my camera around to the different aircraft.

I hesitated posting photos throughout the summer as I wanted to have a compilation thread of the many aircraft I saw. In mid-June we had a tour of our JFK facility and you'll notice one pic from that visit as well.

I hope you enjoy and please let me know if you have any questions! IAD is a very spotter friendly airport and be aware that the airport management continues to advocate and try and include aviation enthusiasts as much as possible! Keep an eye out for a Discover Dulles event in October honoring the inaugural flight of the British Airways A380 on 10/2 - should be an exciting day. ;)

Is the Aerolineas Argentinas A332 the JFK shot?

I noticed you didn't share shots of a few International Carriers at IAD: Saudi, IceAir, and beloved Porter! Not gonna show the Dash8 some love?

Thanks for sharing such a nice set. If you got em, I'd really enjoy seeing some night photos taken airside. I've been wanting to scope out IAD for some night photo opportunities, but with as late as the sun stays up through summer I haven't bothered. Maybe later this autumn when the time changes and I'll burden myself and try n get pix of the intl push just after sunset :-)

Fasil, what happened to that Gambian 727? DId you get any pix of it?
