EWR UA Open House ?

I am wondering if anyone knows the date this year of the EWR Newark UA United Airlines open house like they had last year?

I live 20 minutes away from EWR and have never heard about this event. Can anyone explain what it is? Sounds fun

Its essentially the same as the LaGuardia open house. Aircraft on display for visitors to tour, free food, music, goodie bags and a chance to do some hassle free EWR spotting.Last year they had a 777 on display that you could tour, I'm keeping my fingers crossed this year for a 787. And there's also a competition where people try to pull a 737.

Unless the 787 is scheduled in there for regular service, don't count on it, they will not bring it in special.

Since this is not advertised, how does I get to the event if I fly in? Will there be signs?

From the terminals, take the AirTrain to the P4 stop. There will be shuttle buses from there.

Do they encourage people to fly in? I might be able to get a helicopter to EWR for this event.

It looks like there will be showers on Saturday morning. Will this affect the open house ?
