The following weekend after Montreal I decided to hit JFK. On my way I learned TAP was A330 Star Alliance so I stopped to catch it. However a totally unexpected BA 787 in perfect shooting conditions stole the show.

Very nice catches...I always wanted to get SAS, someday I want to try EWR.
Are you coming to JFK tomorrow - saturday? weather should be very good for spotting.

No Gintaras I am going to I'm taking family to the beach this weekend at the same time air show for me. I think I will be up in two weeks time.

AS a newbie I've read that EWR is not spotter friendly. I left it off my recent NYC airport tour. Where did you spot from and how were the local LEOs?

Fasil, that BAW B787 is always late at night... nice catch indeed. Love the background on the FedEx.

Thanks Rich, Manny and Mark. Manny yes I think I got lucky. tjc I just drove somewhere south of the airport FedEx area, pull over take my shot and kept on circling. I wasn't on anyones property so I didn't have to deal with security and did not see police.

THX!! Sounds like a plan! On biz two weeks ago I was getting on the turnpike and the planes were coming in low right over the highway. I thought - going away from the airport in either direction there have to be some locations. Guess it's time to break out the Google Earth and look around.
