Not much to look at but its the latest colors on PLM
Came in last night as NAX7001 wanted to get the new colors just in case it was a 1 time visitor. This airlines livery goes from worst to worst.

From worse to worse? Now that's too funny but it looks alright to me.

Yes worst to worse. It was ALREADY the "WORST" but now its even more WORSE than WORST...its the WORST.......Fasil :) Its nice to see others enjoy it. What I would like to know if those liht parts are stickers or a half repaint job on the tail. Jared, You avatar. Now THAT'S a goo looking aircraft! Senga Senga

Nice catch Senga, from what I read elsewhere the 744 was at JFK to pick up stranded Norwegian passengers and they appear to be going thru another round of multiple 787's gone tech at the same time.

Cheers

Hi Ron, nice to hear from you :)

Yea I hear NAX has horrible operating reputation at JFK as well. Glad to have them here and that good looking livery though.

there is a Kam Air, Classic 747 freighter that I will try to catch next time I pass through VIDP,it is an Afghani cargo company ,though the airplane has Georgian registry, the Classic is becoming a rare avis, and this is a nice looking one.

Tha'ts true 727C47, Classics are basically just gone now. Do you know how many CKS has left flying around? If any now. Amazing to see all those "Rent a 74" airlines are just 747-400s used to be away used used to be a 100 or 200 series. Times change I guess. My heart will always be with the classic. Senga

K4 has about 5-6 operating at any given time, mainly late build R powered versions ,some of the last Classic's off the line with the HF aerials buried in the vertical fin like the 400, and antenna free wingtips. We have 1 or 2,Q powered ships also still in the inventory. I loved my time in the Classic, I got to fly a former Pan Am ship,a -221, and got to fly the Canarsie approach in one too, along with runs into Afghanistan, and other hot spots. I'm in the 400 now and it really is the better airplane, it flies nicer, hand flies nicer, and the avionics and auto throttles make life sweet, and simple, the 747 in general, and the -400 ERF in particular is among God's finest gifts to pilots, along with the DC3 and the 727.
