JFK - Saturday 2/22 - Planning and (Eventually) Pictures

Hey, guys!

I hope to get out and do some shooting tomorrow, for the first time since UN week. I always like running into you guys, and it happens way too often that it turns out a bunch of us were out, but in different locations. I figured I'd just throw a heads up here and see who plans to be around and make a place-holder thread for my images!!

Hopefully I'll be out most of the day! Here's my plan:

If runway 31: HoBe departures in the morning, Panera arrivals in the afternoon.
If runway 22: Bayswater departures in the morning, Mounds in the afternoon. (This is what it looks like right now, based on forecast)
If runway 04: North Woodmere in the morning, Bayswater in the afternoon.
If runway 13: The Location Which Is Not To Be Named Where We Always Get In "Trouble".

(I wish we could tag/mention people on this forum...anyway to activate that, Phil? I know it's possible on the other vBulletin forum I am part of, but I don't know if it's a simple addition or not).

Look like it will be a pretty decent day, wx wise...so I'm going to try to head out (for the first time since UN, as well) and hit the Mounds for a bit in the afternoon.

I would get out for spotting/photos...depends of what rwy's - arrivals/departures...There I would go...

Just wonder, how much snow still @ bayswaters? Haven't been there since late november...

Did anyone happen to get a picture of an Eagle CRJ that landed on 22L around 1325 local? It was N536EA - I saw someone on the mounds as we flew over. We were behind an Aer Lingus A330 and there was a Delta A330 behind us.

I was @ Bayswaters @ that time and actually I took crappy video of that Aer Lingus landing on 22L...It still was a bad light for photos to be @ the mounds at that time...

Wow that B722is still there after all this time. I have this frame when it was (N727MF). It has been there so long I shot it just by passing though. They must have a massive ramp fee (Maybe) :)
