Greetings,
I was finally able to get the Euroatlantic B772 (NAX7005). Not sure if it has been posted yet over the last few months. I even gave up some shots of 2 blasted Saudi Air Force A330s today to cross this on my list. Glad to get it though.

I forget, who is EuroAtlantic the substitution for right now?

It was on the Norwegian NAX7005/7006 route. Not sure why it came in so early today.

Was it early for today's flight or very late from last night?

Great photo - considering weather conditions...

Looks like it did come a few times lately, but only today early:

And why does it have Portuguese reg - CS?

Matthew,
I think would think it would have been late (yesterdays flight). I was reading that NAX has a horrendous Arr/Dep times. They are all over the place.

Gintaras B,
Ohh because because its a Portuguese airline. They do a lot of flying for other airlines as equipment subs.

Senga, thanks very much for an answer...I'm pretty new to this hobby...Most likely, I would be asking more questions in situations like this...

to cross this on my list

Just wonder, how and anyone make their lists of airplanes they want to catch?

Let's say, I want to get some airplanes I don't have yet, but I want to...- Star Alliance, One World, special schemes...too many too mention...Any suggestions how to create a list and how to check on?

So far, I started an Excel file with reg #'s and hyperlinks to flightaware - for planes I don't have but I want to...but I do have a very few #'s as of today...

Sorry, for too many questions, but I got into this not very long ago and I'm trying to figure out all...

I think you pretty much answered your own question about the list. I myself see airframes on this message board and on JetPhotos.net and add them to my list if I know they are attainable. I used to keep an excel file but when I left a job a few years ago that list disappeared and now I just keep a mental note of the main ones I want to catch. The rest of the time i'm just out there for the fun of this hobby and take what I can get and if a special scheme comes in that I haven't gotten before, it just makes that outing all the more special.

Steve,

Thank you very much...maybe what I should do...I wish I did get hooked on this before...

an example - photo of airplane I took, when I didn't care about this hobby - just when I used to point camera/lense to far away objects..., looks like it's not coming to JFK anymore:

Now, I do check sometimes ACARS Monitor (LAAM), but I don't think, it's reliable...

I do apologize to Senga...I didn't want to hijack this tread - just to learn, how find out about all these rare planes...

Bah what a horrible typos on my part. I mean "Cross this (Off" my list" hehe

Jered,
I wasn't aware of an arrival post. I just knew it was coming in because it filed a flight plan (alert) for NAX7005 with the 777 and I got a text message from a friend. Thanks for posting though still.

Gintaras,
I usually just remember what I want/need. However I used to write down when I needed when I first came to NYC in 2002 and when I go to a new airport with new planes I need I will make a list that way. I guess its sorted by priority and importance. Most aircraft I get I I get when I am out there and don't chase them. The Euroatlantic wasn't on my list since its not a regular visitor but it does get priority when it starts to show up since its not frequent and can stop coming at any moment.

No need to apologize
A good Aviation Enthusiast is always learning :) Always try to find a new way to do things and/or makes what way you have better.

Yea, Not too bad, it fills in the back of the plane and add more color.
