Well, it's not about Iron Maiden: Flight 666 - World Tour 2008.
Don't know, how many are aware, that one of biggest Heavy Metal band's singer - Bruce Dickinson is a pilot as his day job and he flew himself Iron Maiden across the world on 2008 World tour as a captain of Boeing 757...

Well, it is about Delta Airlines Boeing 747 with registration N666US.
I was going thru and editing photos from last year and I noticed that I've taken photos of that Delta reg.
I'm not superstitious...but I do wonder, what others think about? What a superstitious passenger would think if he would find out that he was flown on a aircraft with this kind of registration?

Gintaras, as a connoisseur(and purveyor) of heavy metal music, I am certainly aware of that amazing concert movie. It rules! The Number of the Beast!!!

And as for N666US, well....you know I had to have it, and would love to fly to Japan on it

An individual here in town has had a 666 number for as long as I can remember http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N666TM on several different aircraft. As far as Iron Maiden, I remember when they did the whole Ed Force One thing in 2008, they started the US tour in May 08 here in San Antonio and I was checking Flightaware multiple times a day and snooping around the airport not knowing the 757 was just for the world tour earlier in the year. I remember this one http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N666TV being parked at Signature 3 days before the show thinking it was somehow associated with them, but it was owned by a guy from Mexico that has a business here.

I don't think the majority of airline passengers ever see the actual tail number.
