During my lunchtime I've spotted young Peregrine Falcon on top of high voltage tower near my work and I took some video.
I do know that there's a falcon nest on Nassau Medical Center in East Meadow, not sure if do they band young chicks. Peregrine on video I took today, does have bands:

It's all started from birds - when I bought a telephoto lens. Airplanes came after.

I do sometimes video just for fun, never edited any video I've uploaded.
Most fun I had recording that downy woodpecker - I was just a few feet away - ~7-10 feet and he didn't care about me at all - just kept pecking - it's impossible to take a photo while this little bird is pecking - his head moves @ ~ 6 m/s speed...

And Peregrine Falcon - fastest animal on this planet - my favorite bird.

Very nice video, I too love the Peregrine Falcon. One day you should come out to the Quogue Wildlife Refuge. They have a bunch of rescued birds of prey (including Peregrine Falcons) as well as some other mammals.
