View Full Version : KJFK 12-4-13 Birthday Spotting!

Today I turned 17, which means I now have a full license! I originally planed to go to FRG because its a little closer, but shortly after I arrived I remembered how slow FRG was, not to mention the horrible back lighting for the runway. I said screw it and went to JFK! It was overcast for most of the day but I managed to make the best out of it. I started at the mounds then moved to T5 when they started using converging runways. Here are some of the better shots I got. And right now my goal is to be at JFK once a week or so. See you guys around!

Nice shots. Congrats on your license. Here in NC you only have to be 16 to get it--scary, I know!

Haha thanks guys! Trust me the sidewalks are pretty safe moose, I only hit 3 people on my way to the mounds, caused a massive pile up on the belt parkway and may or may not have drove off the top of t5:tongue:

Thank you as well. It was a little bit daunting at first being that I live an hour away and never been on the LIE alone, let alone the Southern State and the Belt! I hope to be out soon and get to know all of you more. I may head out to FRG on Saturday, the AAM is doing a pearl harbor ceremony. Afterwards I may hit up JFK.
