Greetings,
Been trying to get this one for years now. Missed it on its first arrival and then botched this arrival due to a misconfigured flight alert 10 minutes out instead 60 minutes. Somehow I made it down to JFK before it got too dark. I see it has a new updated livery on it now. Did not have much light left so I had to take what I could get.

Being a Train enthusiast I drove to the Bronx earlier today to photograph the Metro-North train wreck. You can see those images in the links below.

Very nice catch Senga! Did you happen to get the Dubai Air Wing 737 also?

Thanks all,
John,Yes I saw the UAE but didn't shoot it as I have it a few times over. That one had the twin pen stripe lines too. I really would love to get the UAE 787 eventually. I did miss the Nippon CargoB748 again cause I was shooting the train.

Were you on the Henry Hudson Bridge for those shots? If so is there a walking path or did you stop and grab some quick shots?

Hi Gerard,
Yes I was on the HH bridge for the shots. The lower level (Southbound) has a pedestrian lane and the upper level (Northbound) has shoulders. I was not able to shoot from the SB/Lower level because there is a mesh fence and a high construction barrier that would make it hard to shoot from there. NYPD had police cars parked on the bridge. Luckily the upper level only had one enforcement type vehicle and it was on the north end of the bridge. I also think the lower level NYPD blocked pedestrian traffic as well.
