Took a visit out there a couple weekends ago. It is very impressive, once you make it through the airport-like security. Almost didn't make it in because I had a little Swiss Army knife in my pocket. I got patted down, went through an scanner, was asked what my camcorder was, sheesh. I won't be going back there but it was nice to see what they've done to the place.

Very nice shots, William. I have not yet gone. I want to definitely go when the Santiago Calavatra transbay station opens ...

Thank you Manny, definitely check it out at some point. I know you had a thing for the Twins like I did given all your fine shots of them.

All these years, I missed the Towers. Then at my HS reunion I learned of a childhood friend dying in 1WTC. Standing there seeing his name, thinking of the laughs we had in junior high and what a good guy he was, then imagining his last moments, dying over the dumbest sh*t known to man, leaving behind his heartbroken family, really, really screwed me up. The enormity of it all, and knowing how different everything is now. I still feel sick thinking about it.

I took this picture of One World Center from Staten Island on 9/28:

Beautiful shots William. I really like the selective focus on the close up with the rose. Was it awe inspiring to stand beneath the tower and look up, in the same way that it was with the original towers? I have to get down there. Closest I've viewed it from was 14th St.

Beautiful set William and very moving for me since a high school friend we grew up with lost his life on 9-11. I haven't been there in a while, but plan on making it down there next year.

Old Instagram from May 2012, first and only time I was there. Nicely done I must say, very moving.
