Great photos...and...

...Is it ok to post pictures on tread that other guy started?

Today I drove first to Howard Beach area...Couldn't find a good spot for 13L landings...(I saw that Carolina Panthers - great photo, while driving around)...
Decided to drive to Bayswaters Park for take-offs..

My scanner was next to me and on video you can hear that JFK Tower thinks that someone on board of A380 needs a medical attention, but a pilot confirms to the tower than no medical attention anyone on board does need...

Anyone see a C-5 (or something similiar :confused:) land at JFK yesterday say around 2-ish. I was at Eisenhower Park and saw what looked to be one sweep in low from the south over the Meadowbrook and head into JFK.

I missed it by about 5 minutes, actually. I KNEW I saw something in the rear view mirror.

Hey Gang. It was my first time spotting since early June and it felt to be out there with perfect weather.
It was my first time spotting at the T5 parking garage and boy is it a great view.

It was a C-17.

Thanks all. I was coming out from under the trees by the big field east of the Aquatic Center when I looked up to see it swooping in from the south!! Was pretty low, around 2000 or so!!
Any idea of mission? Prez coming in? or does McGuire AFB only do transport for them?

There's no TFR out there yet, may have been supporting the VPOTUS trip into LGA. Just about any East Coast C-17 unit will provide support - I've seen McGuire, Dover, Charleston jets in the past.
