well i went and did something i never did, after my blackberry died and tmobile proved to be utterly useless in rhode island i switched to verizon and bought an iphone. never though i would, and i doubt i'll ever truly like it but it is nice actually having apps available.

that got me thinking, are there any good HDR apps out there for the iPhone 5? anyone here able to recommend anything? i'm still a long way off from learning to shoot HDR with my nikon... and my vacation in SFO next month should be a good time to play with what the phone can do.

The native camera app will do HDRs. Open the app, tap 'Options' at the top of the screen, and move the HDR slider to on. It saves one HDR image and one normal image for every shutter press, and takes a few seconds to process the HDR before you can take another shot.

Get Dynamic Light and ditch the iPhone's native HDR. You won't regret it. If you use it in combination with Photogene, the output is very satisfactory.
