Not sure how many of you have flickr accounts but they just pushed through a major change that there are a lot of complaints about. I myself have already submitted a complaint about this, given that I have paid for a pro account. The new 'look' is terrible, I can't even see my own photos. There is already a wave of opposition to the new look.

The last I checked, no one was complaining about the look of Flickr. This change has made it so bad, that I seriously will be asking for a refund if it doesn't get changed back. If I have to do that, I guess I will finally get my own website up and running.

It looked old...but it just looks super cluttered now

It's really bad, I don't think I can get used to it. I would have preferred a more subtle upgrade.

At this point I can't see me renewing my account.

William, just downgrade your Pro account, and you'll get refunded for unused time (supposedly). I just did:

I've always had a free account so I couldn't really complain, but it looks like I'm the only one who welcomes this upgrade. Looks like photos stand out more, I really like it. I never was a fan of the old look.

Looks like its an upgrade for Windows 8 with touch screen icons and the like. I dont like the new header it takes up my viewing space..... Do not like it at all.........

Trying to emulate facebook.

Slap in the face that the default cover photo on your own PS isn't your own.'

I have a slow connection at home so this takes ages to load.

I downgraded my account immediately after seeing it yesterday and I'm now trying to customize and settle something nice on smugmug, while I try to figure out why I left smug in the first place. The layouts are professional looking, the site is fully and easily customizable, and the support is helpful and they LISTEN to the customer. Flickr can suck it now.

Apparently, some folks were very unhappy when Yahoo first bought flickr. But to me, it worked as it should, and they kept their greedy corporate hands out of the pot. That has all changed with this new 'Melissa Mayer' CEO, who has actually stated 'there are no such things as professional photographers anymore'. What ignorant buffoonery.

So I just got a response back from flickr after I submitted a complaint about the new changes. It's basically a generic form letter that everyone who is submitting tickets is going to receive. It won't surprise anybody, but here it is:

The more I play with it the more I find myself appreciating certain aspects. That being said, when my pro accounts expire I won't be renewing them.

I like the new look. I hate that a Pro account is worthless now. My edited 1600px photos are just 1mb, so a TB that would give me a total of 1.7 million photos on a free account.

Just downgraded and started removing my stuff from the site. It was nice while it lasted!

I'm starting to get used to the new look, and I don't want to move all of my photos to a new site,so I'm staying put.

I've stuck around so far, don't really want to sit here and abandon the contacts I've made or my photos that are on the site. I will say that the speed has increased back to what it was pre-changes thank god.
