[Landing Lights]

I drove by the Intrepid last Friday and was happy to see some construction finally occurring. I am glad that the structure that is being used this time is more than an inflatable bubble as those seem far from sturdy in adverse weather and require a source of power to keep them standing.

The cancellation of Fleet Week is going to hit them hard. The week leading up to Memorial Day is one of the busiest times of the year for them.

FYI- The new Enterprise Space Shuttle Pavilion at the Intrepid will reopen to the public on July 10.
