I recently went to the PAPD HQ desk and spoke to the chief. He agreed that his officers and FJC Security have been acting beyond their authority. He called Port Authority Ops and they both agreed to allow photography along the runways at Newark.

To further show the apologies of his officers, he agreed to provide private escorts and a covered tent along with sandwiches and drinks.

So next time you're going to Newark, just stop in PAPD building and tell them you want a private escort, tent and sandwiches.

Just got a press release from the Port Authority stating that the chief has been relieved of his command for being "soft on spotters". Anyone get to take up the offer before it expired? How were the sandwiches?

I didn't realize this was an April's Fool joke, so I tried, got a photo of a United 738, and was immediately detained :frown: I was told I'd get a sandwich if I "cooperated", so unfortunately, I ratted some of you out. Expect a knock on your doors soon. The sandwich was good.

went out there for awhile and PAPD approached me and they confiscated my memory card again.
