The weather wasn't great, the traffic was meh, ATC wouldn't let us go anywhere, and my lens choice was not idea. But, still worth it.

R-22. Tiny little thing. Very fun though. ATC was being uncooperative tho, so not much in the way of opportunity. The MD-11 was taken from the Crowne Plaza hotel parking structure (where I was staying).

You are right. I was mostly angry with my lens choice. Should have put on the teleconverter on my 300 (or used my D90 instead of my D700). The folks at Star Helicopters were aces.

Thanks! The Crowne Plaza is my go-to hotel now given you can have 'legit access' to the parking structure. Busy, but no one bothered me over 3 days.
