I'm pretty sure this question has been answered before but I don't seem to find the right thread...

Received this message this morning: "Dear Sir, Is it possible to get this digital photo of Cathay B777 ID=355839 and if possible with 2.MB+. Your picture will be ONLY use for my private photos collection on B777. Thanks"

This is related to a photo of mine on Planespotters.net. I could just say no or ignore, but if I were to say yes, any stipulations I should include?

Thanks.

There was some guy on A.net who seemed to send that same request to anyone who uploaded 777 photos, and it sounds like it could be the same guy. From the people who did send him photos, it appeared he really was just a big Triple 7 fan, and only used them for himself. It also sounded like once you sent him one, he would continue to pester you for more.

I don't know any kind of "personal use" that requires a 2meg file. To me, "personal use" is a desktop wallpaper or a crap paper print out. But if you are printing a photo on photo paper, you're taking away from my business.

Once you email one photo that individual will keep bugging you for more photos.

I had no idea y'all knew about him/them. I sound like an internet first-timer who's trying to figure out whether or not he should answer scam emails from Senegal  Sorry about that, thanks again guys.

Lol he's a frequent flyer in my spam folder now. I too gave him one only to get my nuts twisted for more.

Just remember:

E-mails from Senegal - Bad
E-mails from Senga - Something cool is inbound, so pay attention!

I know some old time slide shooters that know him. He really only uses them for himself. I would never send a file that big to anyone. He used to pester me. I told him I would edit a high res file and print it any size and charge him only what it cost me. Never heard back from him.

Ah, the ol personal 2MB + use file request... ROTFL... this is just so silly. It is ABSOLUTELY for printing, whether for himself or not, the 100K version JPG is perfect for wallpaper display but... anyway... does he get his Pizza for free at the local pizzeria since it is for "personal use" ?
