Free Adobe software

Hello All,
I received a link from a trusted source today for free versions of older Adobe software. I downloaded Photoshop CS2 and it seems to work fine. Here is the link:

I am merely passing along a link and assume no responsibility for whatever you download or do with it. From what I have read is that Adobe is basically giving away 7 year software fro free:

From Adobe:
Effective December 13 2012, Adobe disabled the activation server for Creative Suite 2 products and Acrobat 7 because of a technical glitch. These products were released over seven years ago and do not run on many modern operating systems. But to ensure that any customers activating those old versions can continue to use their software, Adobe issued a serial number directly to those customers. While it could be interpreted as Adobe giving away software for free, Adobe did it to help its customers.

This is both the Mac and for Windows, complete with serial numbers directly from Adobe.

Keep in mind the limitations of CS2. If you need RAW file support, skip it. Even CS5 lacks all the modern cameras. Regardless, any full version of Photoshop will do wonders for your editing if stepping up from other tools.

I've never used any version of Photoshop, other than elements and some older photo editing software, so I plan on giving it a try, the price is right. I wonder if the s/n allows one to purchase the upgrade versions at a discount?

Joe, as I understand upgrades are for the previous two generations only. Being that adobe is up to cs6, which is an amazing version of PS, you would be upgrade eligible if you were running cs5 or cs4.

And a good thought at that. As Manny said, with the exception of RAW conversion, cs2 is a splendid program.
