Today was just about a beautiful day for anything in Washington, D.C. I just happened to be so lucky to get out on the ramp at Dulles for a few hours this afternoon and was absolutely blown away by the light! Enjoy. :)

Thanks, guys! I was really happy with how they turned out. I've worked at the airport before and have kept a few contacts there, which certainly comes in handy. ;)

Phil, the NA 763 is among three that are based at Dulles now and replaced the Vision Air 767-200s. It's very questionable as to what and who they operate for now...

Nice shots regardless, John! The light was perfect. Nice catch on the German Air Force plane and the United Star 777, didn't get a chance to photograph either.

Phil, the German Air Force has a base at Dulles. This means that C-160's, the Luftwaffe tanker A310's, and the A340-300 are common visitors to IAD. Though it's still pretty unique to see them here.
